4:30 am lobby call to get to Amsterdam. We were all still up from the Romanian jam session!
Amsterdam was great- we had food, friends, boats, bikes... I love this city! We had 2 giant AirBnB houses: one for the band and one for the horns.
My Italian friend Matilde came over from Hamburg to stay for a couple of nights. We ingressed and explored a bit. Great food and shopping.
The show was in a small club directly across the water from the main train station. My friends Larry Graham & GCS happened to be in town too... but they played at the same time as us :-(
Didn't hook up after either. Next time!
On the last night there, one of my best friends came through to hang- The one and only Nikki Blakk (formerly of 107.7 the Bone, SF). Argentinian Steak, Beer, absinthe and fun!
Off to Nice- directly into 2 days off :-)
